‘September’ screening at the Celluloid Social Club

The Celluloid Social Club is a monthly screening, featuring the best in independent provocative short and feature films and videos followed by fun & frolic and filmmaker Q&As. They will be screening LEO Award winning short films this Wednesday May 28, 2008.

Along with ‘September’, A.J. Bond’s ‘Hirsute‘ (winner best sound) , ‘Dogboy’ (winner best score & costume), Humongous USA (winner best visual effects) and ‘Centigrade’ (winner best short, directing, acting) will be screening.

The screening will be held at the Anza Club. Doors open at 7:30 and the screening begins at 8pm. There is a 5$ donation at the door and many prizes to be won.

‘September’ wins Leo Award

The Leo Awards ceremony took place last Saturday, May 24th at the Westin Bayshore hotel, and ‘September’ took home the ‘Best Student Production’ title. Here’s an awkward photo of producer Cat Mills and director Lindsay Allikas with the Leo. View a complete list of winners here.

‘September’ nominated for Leo Award

‘September’ has been nominated for ‘Best Student Production’ at the 10th annual Leo Awards. See the rest of the nominees here. The film will screen in the Leo Awards Film Festival at 7pm on Sunday May 18th at the Pacific cinematheque. You can buy tickets here. The awards are held May 23rd.

‘September’ to screen at the Student Shorts Film Festival in Toronto

September will screen October 19th at 9:30 at Innis Town Hall.
